Black Friday 2025: The Best Deals, Tips, and Must-Shop Saving

black friday the best deals

Black Friday 2025 is finally here, and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest shopping events of the entire year. Whether you're hunting for gifts, stocking up on essentials, grabbing craft supplies, finding new planners, or treating yourself to something special, this is the perfect time to save. With prices dropping earlier and deeper than ever, shoppers have more opportunities to snag deals across every category—electronics, home, beauty, crafting, fashion, and more.

In this guide, you'll find an overview of the best Black Friday deals available now, tips for smart shopping, and categories worth browsing if you want to stretch your holiday budget even further.

Why Black Friday Matters More Than Ever

Over the past few years, Black Friday has become a month-long event rather than a single-day sale. Many brands begin offering early deals in mid-November and continue through Cyber Monday. This is great news for shoppers—you get more time to compare prices, shop stress-free, and grab items before they sell out.

Retailers know customers are looking for real value, so you’ll see deeper discounts on popular products including:

  • Crafting supplies and tools

  • Planners, notebooks, and accessories

  • Home gadgets and kitchen appliances

  • Electronics and personal tech

  • Beauty and self-care items

  • Jewelry and holiday gift sets

  • Toys, games, and stocking stuffers

Whether you're shopping online or browsing your favorite stores, Black Friday remains one of the easiest ways to save big on both gifts and everyday items.

The Best Categories to Shop This Black Friday

1. Crafts, DIY Supplies & Creative Tools

This is always a huge category for Black Friday—and a favorite for crafters, cardmakers, and creators. Look for deals on paper trimmers, markers, inks, adhesives, cardstock, storage solutions, and more. Many craft stores offer 20–60% off, plus extra digital coupons and bundle deals. If you love making cards, scrapbooking, diamond painting, sewing, or mixed media crafts, now is the perfect time to stock up.

2. Planners, Calendars, and Organization

If you’re thinking ahead to 2026, Black Friday is one of the best times to grab planners, journals, calendars, stickers, and desk accessories. Many brands offer 20–50% off, including popular planning systems. Whether you prefer minimal, decorative, faith-based, or highly functional layouts, you’ll find excellent discounts.

3. Home & Kitchen Finds

Black Friday sales on home and kitchen products are always popular—air fryers, vacuum cleaners, slow cookers, coffee makers, organizers, and smart home gadgets often see major markdowns. If you've been waiting to upgrade something in your home, this is the moment.

4. Beauty, Self-Care & Gift Sets

Many brands release limited-edition holiday bundles and kits, which often cost far less than buying items individually. Skincare sets, makeup palettes, hair tools, and fragrance boxes make great gifts—and even better self-care treats.

5. Electronics & Tech Gifts

TVs, laptops, tablets, headphones, watches, cameras, and accessories always drop to some of their lowest prices of the year. Even budget-friendly tech items like portable chargers or Bluetooth speakers make great stocking stuffers.

Tips for Getting the Best Black Friday Deals

✔ Make a shopping list.
Write down the items you truly want or need before browsing. This will help keep you focused and avoid impulse buying.

✔ Compare prices.
Just because something is labeled a Black Friday deal doesn’t always mean it’s the lowest price. Check a few stores—some will match or beat others.

✔ Shop early.
Products sell out fast, especially popular craft tools, electronics, planners, and new releases.

✔ Watch for bundles.
Many brands offer bundle pricing or buy-more-save-more discounts that stretch your budget even further.

✔ Keep an eye on updates.
Black Friday deals change throughout the week, with many retailers adding new items daily.

Jewelry Care Guide: Keep Your Favorite Pieces Sparkling ✨

Jewelry care guide

Jewelry is more than something we wear—it tells a story. Some pieces celebrate memories, some mark special occasions, and others are simply fun accessories we love to grab for everyday style. No matter the reason, taking good care of your jewelry helps it last longer, stay shine-ready, and look beautiful every time you wear it. Today, I’m sharing an easy, beginner-friendly guide on how to care for all kinds of jewelry, from fashion pieces to fine metals and gemstones.

Why Jewelry Care Matters

Even the prettiest piece can lose its sparkle without regular care. Oils from your skin, lotions, perfumes, sweat, and even the air can affect how jewelry looks over time. Proper care prevents tarnish, discoloration, scratches, and loose stones. And don’t worry—taking care of jewelry isn’t complicated at all. A few simple habits can make a big difference.

General Care Tips for All Jewelry

No matter what type of jewelry you have, these basic rules apply to everything:

  • Put jewelry on last. After lotions, makeup, and perfumes. This helps avoid buildup.

  • Keep pieces dry. Moisture is one of the biggest causes of tarnish and fading.

  • Wipe after wearing. A quick polish with a soft cloth removes oils and sweat.

  • Store safely. Separation prevents scratches and tangles.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals. Cleaning products, bleach, and even some soaps can damage metals and stones.

These small steps help your jewelry stay bright and beautiful with very little effort.

Caring for Fashion Jewelry

Fashion jewelry is affordable and fun, but it also needs gentle care to keep from fading or turning dull. Most pieces are plated, so water and chemicals can wear the coating off.

Here’s what helps the most:

  • Keep fashion jewelry completely dry—don’t shower, swim, or clean with it on.

  • Store it in a cool, dry place.

  • Use a soft microfiber cloth to clean it.

  • Avoid jewelry stands that collect dust—small pouches work better for fashion pieces.

With proper care, fashion jewelry can stay looking nice for a long time.

Caring for Sterling Silver Jewelry

If you love that classic silver shine, you know silver can tarnish quickly. But don’t worry—silver is easy to maintain.

Try these tips:

  • Store silver in anti-tarnish bags or cloth pouches.

  • Use a silver polishing cloth for quick cleaning.

  • Believe it or not, wearing silver helps it stay shiny—the natural oils from your skin slow tarnish.

If your silver needs deeper cleaning, warm water with mild dish soap works well. Just make sure to dry it completely.

Caring for Gold Jewelry

Gold jewelry is classic, durable, and always timeless. Whether you have yellow, white, or rose gold, the cleaning method is mostly the same.

  • Wash gold gently in warm water with mild soap.

  • Use a soft brush to clean around small details or stones.

  • Rinse and dry thoroughly—never store gold while damp.

  • Avoid chlorine and bleach, which can weaken the metal.

A little gentle cleaning every few months keeps gold pieces glowing.

Gemstone Care Tips

Gemstones are beautiful but delicate, and each one behaves a little differently. Since not all stones can handle harsh cleaners or heat, gentle is always safer.

General care:

  • Use mild soap and warm water with a soft brush.

  • Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless you know the stone is safe for it.

  • Keep gemstones away from chemicals and strong cleaning agents.

If you’re ever unsure, cleaning with soapy water is the safest option.

Jewelry Storage Ideas

Good storage makes a big difference in how jewelry holds up over time.

Here are a few ideas:

  • Soft-lined jewelry boxes

  • Anti-tarnish bags for silver pieces

  • Hanging organizers for necklaces to prevent tangles

  • Small zipper pouches for fashion jewelry

  • Ring dishes for pieces you wear daily

The goal is to keep jewelry dry, separate, and protected.

Final Thoughts

Taking care of your jewelry doesn’t have to be complicated. With a few simple habits—like keeping pieces dry, storing them properly, and giving them a gentle clean—you can enjoy your favorite accessories for years. Whether you wear fine jewelry, fashion pieces, or sentimental keepsakes, a little care goes a long way in helping them shine.

I hope this guide inspires you to give your jewelry a little extra love today!

So Many Ideas, So Little Time

If you’re anything like me, you probably have a dozen creative projects started — and even more waiting patiently on your “someday soon” list. I don’t know what it is, but I just love making small items. There’s something so satisfying about finishing something quickly and seeing the results right away. I think that’s what keeps my creative spark going — that sense of progress, that happy feeling of completing something with my own two hands.

Whether it’s crafting, diamond painting, or one of my many other creative hobbies, I always seem to have more ideas than hours in the day. Sometimes, I sit down to finish one thing and end up thinking of three more projects I want to start! It’s a wonderful problem to have, really — it just means creativity is flowing and inspiration is always nearby.

Why I Love Small Projects

I think small projects bring instant joy because they fit so perfectly into our busy lives. You don’t have to wait weeks or months to see results — just a few hours, maybe an evening or a weekend, and you can hold something beautiful that you made. It’s a reminder that even when life feels rushed or full, there’s still time for creativity.

A few of my favorite small projects include:
🌸 Mini diamond paintings that sparkle beautifully in the light
πŸŽ€ Handmade cards using Stampin’ Up! supplies
πŸ•―️ Little candle decorations or jars that make cozy gifts
🧢 Small crochet or craft pieces that bring instant smiles

Each one is like a mini burst of happiness. I can see progress quickly, and that makes me want to keep creating more.

The Challenge: Too Many Ideas, Too Little Time

The biggest challenge, of course, is that there are so many ideas! I’ll scroll through Pinterest, watch a craft video, or see something cute on someone’s page, and my brain immediately goes, “Oh! I could make that!” Before I know it, I have more projects planned than I could ever finish in one week — or even one month!

Sometimes it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But I’ve learned that creativity doesn’t have to be rushed. Even if I can’t make everything right away, the joy of imagining those projects is still part of the creative process. Inspiration is a beautiful thing, and it’s okay to let it build and grow.

My Little Solution: Project Idea Planner

To help myself manage all those wonderful ideas, I’ve started using a Project Idea Planner page. It helps me keep track of all my creative thoughts — what I want to make, what I’ll need, and how long each project might take. That way, I don’t lose any inspiration, but I also don’t pressure myself to do everything at once.

Now, when I sit down to create, I can look through my planner and select something that fits the time I have available. Maybe a quick craft I can do in an hour, or maybe something a bit bigger for a relaxing weekend. It helps me stay focused while still having fun.

Finding Joy in the Journey

At the end of the day, it’s not about finishing every single idea. It’s about enjoying the process — the calm moments, the sparkle of a diamond painting, the scent of a freshly made candle, the satisfaction of crafting something with love.

Creativity is a journey, not a race. And even if I don’t finish everything I start, I still get to celebrate the joy of making. Each project, big or small, brings a little more happiness into my day — and that’s what it’s all about. 🌸✨

🌸 Planner Talk: Finding What Works Without Breaking the Bank 🌸

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect planner—something pretty, practical, and affordable. But wow, some of them cost a small fortune! πŸ’° In this post, I’m sharing my thoughts on choosing the right planner when you’re on a budget, plus a few helpful tips to stay organized and inspired without overspending.

🌸 What Planner Do I Use? Finding the Right One on a Small Budget

If you’ve ever gone down the rabbit hole of planner shopping, you know it’s a world all its own. From beautifully designed covers to endless layouts and inserts, there’s something out there for everyone—but there’s also something else: the price tag. Lately, I’ve been asking myself the same question over and over: What planner do I actually use? And why do some of them cost so much?

Don’t get me wrong—I absolutely love planners. There’s something so calming about sitting down with a cup of coffee ☕, a pen πŸ–Š️, and a fresh page to map out my goals, blog ideas, or daily to-dos. But when I started looking around for a new planner this year, I was honestly shocked by how pricey many of them have become. Some cost as much as $40, $60, even $80 for something I’ll only use for a year. For someone on a small budget, that’s a lot to spend just to stay organized.

πŸ’Έ Why Are Planners So Expensive?

I’ve learned that there are a few reasons behind the price of planners. The first is the brand. Some planner companies have built strong followings, and people pay extra for the name or the design aesthetic. The second reason is customization—planners that allow you to mix and match inserts, covers, or special tabs tend to cost more because you’re essentially creating your own system.

Another big factor is materials. The thicker paper, laminated covers, and coil bindings all add up. And if you’re into decorative planning (like stickers, washi tape, and markers πŸŽ€), the cost can really snowball. Before you know it, you’ve spent more on planner accessories than on the planner itself!

But here’s the thing: while I love beautiful planners, I also believe staying organized shouldn’t break the bank. There are plenty of ways to plan without spending a small fortune.

πŸ—“️ My Planner Dilemma

Right now, I’m trying to decide what planner truly fits my needs. I’ve used a few different types—some I’ve really liked, and others I’ve outgrown. I’ve tried disc-bound planners, spiral notebooks, and even printable pages that I’ve customized myself.

There’s something satisfying about physically writing things down, so digital planning doesn’t work for me. I need that feeling of pen on paper—it helps me stay focused and intentional. But I also want something that’s affordable and functional.

At the moment, I’m torn between a few favorites. I’ve been using my Paper Studio Agenda 52 planner for blog planning, and I really like it. It’s cute, practical, and doesn’t cost too much. For everyday life—appointments, errands, and personal notes—I use my Livewell 2026 planning calendar, which has been a great budget-friendly option.

Still, I can’t help but browse other planners from time to time, hoping to find “the one.” Every time I look, though, I’m reminded of how expensive some of them are. I can’t justify paying that much when I know there are other things I need to budget for—like pet supplies 🐾, household items, or blog projects.

πŸ’‘ Finding Budget-Friendly Options

So, what do you do when you love planners but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg? You get creative! Here are a few tips that have helped me stick to my budget while still keeping my planning routine fun and inspiring:

  • πŸ›️ Check craft stores for sales. Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Joann often have planners marked down 40–50% off. If you’re patient, you can find some amazing deals.
  • πŸ–¨️ Use printable planner pages. You can find tons of free or low-cost printable pages online. Print only what you need, and put them in a simple binder.
  • πŸ““ Repurpose notebooks. A cute notebook can easily become a planner. Add your own sections for goals, to-do lists, or daily logs.
  • πŸ• Stick to one planner at a time. It’s tempting to buy multiple planners for different parts of life, but that can get expensive. I try to combine things into one or two planners that serve all my needs.
  • 🏷️ Look for clearance or previous-year versions. Sometimes last year’s planners are discounted, and with a few stickers or washi tape tweaks, you can make them work for the new year.

🌼 Final Thoughts

In the end, it’s not about how fancy or expensive your planner is—it’s about how well it works for you. The best planner is the one that keeps you inspired, helps you stay organized, and fits your lifestyle (and your budget!).

I’m still figuring out my perfect planner setup, but that’s okay. Part of the fun is experimenting until I find the right balance. For now, I’m thankful for the planners I do have, and I’m learning to be content with simplicity. Organization doesn’t have to come with a high price tag—it just has to bring peace to your days. πŸ’–
